 Charlotte Beadle, Managing Director

Charlotte is an experienced compliance and ethics professional, whose educational background specialised in medical law, in particular the legislation and code for the UK pharmaceutical industry.

She entered the compliance arena in 2004 working for Eli Lilly in the UK as their first dedicated compliance lead outside of the USA. This role was initially to ensure Eli Lilly adhered to the ABPI Code of Practice and newly-created global compliance policies. However, the role soon expanded from a medical-based position to incorporate the implementation of Eli Lilly’s anti-corruption programme under the banner of the legal department. At this time compliance was becoming more established in the pharmaceutical industry and with her experience helped to bring compliance support online for the majority of European markets. By 2009 Eli Lilly formed a separate worldwide ethics and compliance function where Charlotte had a leading role, with the UK affiliate spearheading the way.

In 2010 she joined Grünenthal to head up their compliance function for the UK, and to provide significant support to the new CCO as compliance was a recently added priority for the company. Charlotte designed and implemented Grünenthal’s compliance programme within 15 months, and significantly improved the overall culture of the company.

In her last in-house role, Charlotte headed up compliance and ethics for the UK, Irish and German markets at Bristol-Myers Squibb where she was an EMEA Associate Director. This included not only managing the compliance programmes for 3 countries but also being a strategic lead for EMEA in all compliance and ethics-related matters.

In 2014 Charlotte wanted to extend the breadth of the pharmaceutical industry to which she could provide her experience and expertise. Charlotte is very experienced with the UK ABPI Code, Irish IPHA Code, German FSA Code, European EFPIA Code and during 2013 undertook Seton Hall’s European Healthcare Compliance Programme and INSEAD’s Healthcare Compliance Implementation Leadership Programme.

 Christopher Beadle, Company Director 

​Chris brings with him a strong scientific background and over 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. He began his career in Discovery Chemistry at Lilly, with the intent to bring innovative treatments to help make patients’ lives better. Having contributed to the development of numerous clinical candidates, a move into the ethics and compliance arena might seem a bit of an unusual step, however at the heart of this change was a continued desire to see patients getting the treatments they need, through ensuring that the promotion of medicines is done in an ethical and appropriate way.

Chris has a passion for compliance, with a love of working with new people. With a long track record of training provision and new process roll-outs, he is also a dedicated auditor with an eye for detail and recent experience of both internal and mock regulatory body audits. He has experienced working within both large and small companies, as well as remote engagements with academic groups.
